Agrimony

Also called burdock, it is known for its burrs or fruits. The burrs are known for their ability to cling to fur, clothes, and just about anything else. As a medicine it was used to heal sores, pimples and irritations in poultice form and the root and seeds can be ground up and used in a tonic to purify the blood.

Agrimony was used for protection and exorcism, and kept near allowed one to see evil witches on their nightly rides. It is an important herb for the use of banishing unwanted spirits, including those that might be taking up residence in someone against their will. It can be drunk in tea or burned and the smoke blown at them. Old folklore says that if it was slipped under a man's pillow he would not wake until it was removed.
