wolfesbane

Wolvesbane is a powerful and deadly poison it should not be touched with the hands, or burnt at all!. Its poison was once used to poison arrow heads, and for other deadly purposes such as an execution method for condemned criminals. It was also used to poison meat for use as bait for wolves, hence its name . Sometimes, it was used in love potions, but probably not as an aphrodisiac, but to induce paralysis, or numb the cognitive senses. Its victims usually went mad or died. Do not use it under any conditions! Another name for this wort is Tyr's helm, linking it to Tiw (Tyr).

For magical uses, Wolvesbane has long been used as a spell of binding and protection.
